Gryphon was one of the last Justine's built, and thus has benefited from many years of Morris Yachts fine tuning the design. She is well laid out and executed. In 2006/2007 she underwent a major refit at Morris Yachts that included new Awlgrip on the hull, non-skid on deck, Raymarine electronics, driveshaft, rudder post, standing rigging, dodger, and mainsail. Gryphon is in excellent condition and a beautiful example of high-end boatbuiding. Ultra suede covered cushions with high density foram for berths in forward and aft cabin. Eleven opening ports (with screens) with additional port into cockpit, two large deck hatches (with screens), two dorades with draft controls, two solar vents, three 12-volt fans, and four deck prisms create a bright and well ventilated interior. The tri-cabin version (see layout) gives comfortable accomodations for two couples with an additional double dinnette berth for an occasional third couple. Beautiful details includes custom rounded locker and passageway doors and drawers.
